Woke at 8am to yet another wet morning. Had to rethink my route.. and decided to stay on the pavement today as the feilds I usually run would be very muddy and water logged.. ( still apprehensive after that fall)
So with the thought of a straight road up..wait for half way signal from laura then turn for home.. was rather boring especially as my music app had died AGAINSo just my thoughts and protesting knees to carry me along.
I duly finished my run and thought"that was pretty uneventful"
I showered, changed and went into town for the afternoon.. now reflecting on my ( uneventful.) Run... Something had changed... How could it have been uneventful?
I GOT OUT OF BED.
I RAN FOR A FULL 25MINUTES even with protesting knees)
I HAVE COMPLETED WEEK 7
THE RAIN WAS QUITE PLEASANT
I NOW FEEL BRILLIANT
I AM ONLY TWO WEEKS AWAY FROM GRADUATION!
I'm a blooming super star :)!!!
7 weeks ago I would have called that an event to CELEBRATE!! So tonight I'm celebrating my wonderful uneventful day

It really is a breakthrough moment when you realise you've just rattled off a run as if it's the most normal thing in the world. I had a moment like that after graduation. It just hit me one afternoon at work - I had run 5 k that morning. It was completely uneventful, I had no aches and pains, no stiffness, my body had just done it! And that blew me away!
Again I fell back on your advice while my brain had no music distractions.. thoughts of you telling me to lift my knees and think of my posture.. it did seem to help Secan.. again.. well done on your parkrun today.. sounded amazing x and thanks
