I haven't written anything before but I have taken a good deal of encouragement from the posts people have made on thier journeys to 5k. So, thank you to those who took the time to post, particularly those who've found it less than easy, it helped keep me going.
Graduation today was my first park run - Memorial Park in Coventry. A very enjoyable and friendly event running with 600 other people....and finishing just behind an eleven-year old is a great help in managing your ego.....
If you're struggling somewhere along the C25k programme, stick at it. It's definitely worth it, and you'll suddenly start to find that you do the longer runs.
Happy running, Ian.
