Just wanted to pop by and say thanks for everyone's help and support.
I started on the 19th April, so it has taken me over 4 months to complete due to two minor injuries and a bout of flu. I seemed to stick around week 4 and 5 for a long time. The biggest battle by far was mentally though, with my mind constantly either telling me I cant do it or that I had a fake pain or tightness.
Well, good luck to everyone still on the journey or have just started. Keep it up, it's very rewarding. I never thought I'd enjoy running, and looking forward to a park run tomorrow.
Those with injuries or setbacks, don't give up, I know your pain. Whether you do it in 9 weeks or 9 months it doesn't matter.
