Chose to do this run as the sun was coming up, before hardly anyone was around. Without music and earphones.
I just didn't want distraction. I wanted to focus on every step & every breath, everything I've achieved, physically and mentally. Every comment made and recieved on this forum.
There wasn't confetti cannons, banners & whoops.... There was a smile of contentment, that 9 weeks ago, would not usually be there at this time in the morning!
Happy running everyone... And thank you π€

Congratulations uncle wiggy, what a beautiful, contemplative grand finale run πββοΈπ . Well done you. I hope that great feeling of achievement will stay with you for you to build on to continue on your running journey πππ
Thank you Dragonflies, I'm certain it will stay with me. I struggle with mosquito bites in the summer... But this running bug is one I don't mind being bitten by! π
Congratulations. That sounds like the perfect run to cross the line with. Enjoy celebrating this, itβs a huge achievement. Enjoy your next running adventure.
Oh yesssss Uncle, brilliant achievement and very well done indeed! πππ Great photo of contentment - you look mighty proud, and so you should! ππππ
Hereβs to you, graduate! Enjoy your day, in fact milk it for all itβs worth! π₯π₯π₯
Thanks cheeky..... Def loving today's post run feeling even more than usual..... And I've got my first parkrun to look forward to on Saturday.... You know that a lot of this is your fault..... Thanks so much! π
Thanks W6R2 for me this morning was glorious in sunny country lanes. Canβt believe weβre having such lovely weather to start on this running journey π
I know! When I started in September I knew that I wanted to get into the stride of running before the clocks change etc. I'm prepped for darker and colder runs already.... Apparently summer beach bodies are made in the winter π€£ we'll see about that! π
Thank you Wimborne, it was a great run in every sense... In 9weeks I've gone from not understanding runners & just fancying a challenge to totally getting it... Pure satisfaction π
Thanks Katnap, feel like I've finished stronger by heeding the good advice on here! Hope your runs are going well, I loved the later stages even more than the beginning.... π
