Yesterday, I ended up running up and down stairs as fast as I could, 7 times as my ‘run’. It really is surprisingly hard work, especially when you do it just before you go to bed.
Today, I ran 3.46k in 27:37 - which included stopping to round up dogs and put them on leads to take them over a bridge when I reached the village where I’d planned on turning back, and a brief stop to allow a cyclist to ride past us.
It’s funny, I haven’t run the north end of the river in a while, and I was surprised by how quickly we reached the village. So quickly, in fact, that I almost didn’t get the three of them on leads in time 🤦♀️

It's amazing the difference between running🏃 and walking🚶 regarding time⌚ and distance as you just found out regarding the quicker time🕰️ you got to the village.
For many years I have walked 🚶around a resorvoir and when I finished the walk got a train at the same time back home. Before I graduated I ran one of the runs of week 7 around that same resorvoir. After completing the run I got a train back home 15 minutes earlier than If I had walked🚶 that same route.
