Some people report that they notice a slight change on their body about halfway through the course. Do realise that running won't in itself reduce weight, you also should be on a healthy diet and do other exercises on the days you don't run.
Thanks I’ve lost just over 4 stone over the last year due to healthy eating and lots of exercise . However, I’ve been stuck at the same Weight and dress size for the last 3 months so I thought I’d give running a go now that I’m fitter ,to see if it will kick start my weight loss again ! 🤷🏻♀️
I can honestly say that I noticed a difference by the end of the first week, and now by mid week 5 there is a lot of difference in terms of being toned and loss of inches. My stomach is definitely smaller - however I haven't lost any weight - or if I have, a couple of pounds at most. I am also following a calorie counting diet and if I'm honest am disappointed that I haven't lost more weight than that - but not with the effects of the running.

Bear in mind that muscle is heavier than fat. If you are losing fat and gaining muscle, your weight may not seem to change much but you’re still fitter and healthier. Top athletes often have a BMI that would be considered high for the likes of you and me but because the extra weight is muscle rather than fat it’s not a problem.

I measure myself rather than weigh myself and I began to notice changes about 4 weeks in. This morning (week 2 post-graduation) my husband said he could tell my overall shape was different.
It's not a huge change yet, but I'm trying to loose weight the same way as I run : slowly and surely 😂
The only thing I've changed in my (vegetarian) diet is to cut out as much refined sugar as I can. It may or may not be helping 😅
