So I did the first run of week five today, and possibly went in a bit too confidently after week 4. Having noticed the first 5-10 mins are usually the hardest parts for me, i had a bit of a go at some dynamic stretches for the first time, which seemed to help a bit, but felt a bit low on energy and had to push hard at the end to get through.
Having said the above, it's genuinely just occured to me that setting off ten minutes after my half hour walk home from work might not be the smartest move in the book haha!

Great job. That first 5-10 minutes being the hardest is very common, many runners have to go through the “toxic 10” on most runs. Good mental strength getting the last few minutes done. Enjoy run 2
Those firsti minutes are hard for most, me included, it's a well known phenomenon. I did w5 r3 and as always found the same. When Laura time checked the first 5 minutes I was sure I'd run for 10 but she next time checked 15 minutes and I was in my stride and thought "oh so soon😊 " Sounds like your doing great
