Morning running family,

Yesterday, I have completed week 6 of this amazing journey. I woke up, did what I had to do (groceries, as apparently humans do need to eat to survive), and miserably looked through window. I wanted to go for a run in the morning not to have excuse later on. Clouds, rain, and general "I don't want to" just outweighed my plan. I started to do other things. When I was nearly done with my "must do's", the sun came out saying "today is your running day, come on its beautiful out here". So I dressed nicely i.e. slimming black running outfit, and I was ready for my calm run alone, but my dog got ready was well. It was not her time to go out, but her brown eyes were patiently looking at me, full of hope. I just couldn't say no to her. She was guarding every step I did. So off we went, together, to greet the sun, and out last week 6 run. I got mentally prepared for 25 minutes, but my app is apparently slightly different. W6R3 is 22 minutes, the next run will be 25. Well, c'est la vie.

Longer walking warm up to get my partner to do all her business, a bit of play with the stick, and off we went. Quite standard route along main road, with wind straight to our faces, and sun straight o our eyes.

Beginning was very good, nice, easy, steady, comfortable. But the the toxic hit me, I don't know toxic 5, 7 or 10. But I was struggling. I concentrated on those short moments of pleasure, when I felt good. Even if they lasted seconds. Sun on my face, gentle wind (for that short moment), dog just on my side. Just those moments of perfect "this is how it supposed to be" :)

Then, we reached our park. And everything changed... for better. Oh, I so love to run in nature :) and I kind of hate roads and pavements. Running on grass may be not the easiest, I felt so many muscles in my feet, legs, and hips, but it was so nice and soft, so good. Only sound of leaves and birds <3 In the meantime it got really hot. Even though I was with only short sleeve and shorts, the sun was frying and black colour didn't help. We were both boiling. But the short moments of shade and grass under my feet was soothing. I didn't run long in this scenery, as my run came to an end. But our adventure wasn't over. We decided to have a nice walk along canal to cool down. My dog love swimming and apparently 22 minutes didn't tire her totally. I was walking along the canal while she was swimming. To be honest, I envy her the cool water, while I was still in sun. But at least with nice cool breeze. My 5-min cool down walk turned into amazing half an hour walk with several jogging periods that I through in here and there :P

We came home tired (not exhausted) and very happy. It was very good run, at least the short moment in the city, and the end in the park. I did some proper stretching (for about 25 minutes) and finished with my legs against the wall for another 10. I really like this leg elevation it is becoming my favourite after run routine, apart from nice shower :P of course.

Later that day, the clouds and rain came back. I think this time, even the Earth wants me to complete the programme :D

Thank you :) enjoy Sunday.

I plan to be lazy today. Tomorrow, it will be probably my first run in the rain for the past 6 weeks. I was incredible lucky :)

I may head to the park again, will see.

To be honest, I am surprised that it went so smoothly and I am so far away. I'm still kind of waiting for some kind of disaster to stop me from completing all C25K, as it was in the past. But at the same time, I'm keeping my fingers crossed not to come across anything.

Big congratulations👏! Your app is right, I used Laura podcast (mp3) instead this app and she said: "..twenty five minutes non stop. Scared? Dont be!" :-)

Maybe it is little different form app..

But you are a running hero 🏃‍♀️!

And you have a great companion to run! :-)
