Morning all, I just found this link to find running groups in your area from the "This girl can" website. Don't let that put off the males reading this, I think it lists any running group near you that it can find!

Going to build it in to my plans for when the lighter nights reappear!

Always good to have a plan! ;) This is a pretty long term one for me too, shows I have dedication (at the minute!)

Brilliant sunshinefish, just found a group right on my doorstep that I never knew existed. Thanks for sharing 😊😊😊

Yay! You're welcome! I found one too so I got pretty excited :) By waiting for lighter nights it also gives me time to build up my runs, so that I can keep up. Although they sound lovely and have a back runner running with the last runner.

From that website "run together. Co. uk/groups there does not seem to be any running groups for more than 100 miles from where I live, I looked at Glasgow, Edinburgh, none, Manchester and London had " hundreds "

Oh no, that's a shame AlMorr. Maybe it's not got every group on it? Or maybe if you wanted to do group runs there is another way to find like minded people? I would say set one up yourself but I think that would be a lot of work!!!

Thanks for your reply 'sunshinefish' I have noted what you told me😊👍

I hope you do find others to run with if that's what you want. And fingers crossed there is a group out there but just not on that website. Word of mouth or social media maybe to find one?

Just re read your reply. Really surprised that Edinburgh and Glasgow don't have running groups!

It came up with for both Glasgow and Edinburgh

"The location you searched for cannot be found"

It appears to cover England rather than the UK 😔

Thanks sunshinefish, there's a group near me that I never knew about.

I'm wondering if that website is only showing English groups - it does say it's an update of Run England. Maybe there is a separate Scottish one AlMorr?

Yes, that sounds reasonable, rather than there being no groups in either Glasgow or Edinburgh AlMorr
