I did it and felt so good at the end of the 30 minutes I carried on for another 5 minutes and made the 5k. Feeling over the moon 😊. Now to repeat two more times. I CAN do this!

Congratulations on the 5k... done that now, step back to 30 minutes, to stay within the 10% rule for adding duration, and close this out. Great job.

Yes exactly what I was planning. Should’ve said that 😬. Thanks for your support 😊

Well done, remember to keep up the running regularly and concentrate on increasing your pace.

I had a moment of madness on Wk8 and decided to run longer for 29 minutes & completed 3 miles (4.8k). Surprised the dog as he was hoping to stop at 25 minutes!!!

Note: no bad side effects next day.

My plan is to consolidate the 30 minute runs after I finish the program and during these runs work on sections of speed 😊

Well done! I have a hunch you’ll smash R2 and R3 and will soon be sporting a shiny badge! 🏅👏👍

Thank you. I really hope so. How do you get a badge?

It’s a virtual badge - there’s a pinned post on here about graduation for the current month. Pop a post on that when you’ve graduated and you’ll get awarded one! 🏅🏅🏅
