Week 6 completed - I am a runner!

It feels really amazing and quite surreal, the kid at school who used to get a totally blood red face after just a few minutes of exercise!

Admittedly, the last 5 minutes was mind over matter but “Born to be wild” and finishing with Everybodys Free” made a real difference. Really looking forward to Monday and repeating the run!

Well done Dragonflies! I finished the same run today what a great feeling eh?!

No more intervals now, just running to the finish line 🏁 Really looking forward to the next run too, a great end to the week - good stuff 👍👏

Great job... last 5 minutes were mind over matter, that’s ok, remember when just 5 minutes was that?

I know! I struggled with the first few 90 sec runs at the beginning 😂

You beat me then, I struggled in the 60s 😂

You’ve come so far, it’s almost unbelievable huh? You got this plan now, and you’ll amaze yourself many times with just what you can do. Enjoy.

I loved that run! I'm just one run ahead of you. I did WK 6 Run 3 last Sunday, then pulled something in my back and have been in agony. Then yesterday it was bucketing down in the morning when I got up and I haven't bought any waterproofs or a cap or anything. So 6 days later, I did Week 7 Run 1 and I loved it! Am with you on the tunes though; it's the music that keeps me going and drowns out those gremlins!

Upbeat music with a strong beat lifts those feet off the ground and strengthens the whole core. Good to hear you have recovered and back running again, and loving it!
