W4R2 - am I nearly there yet?

I'm looking forward to reaching the halfway point as I've found this week tough.

I only need to look as far as myself though. It was all going swimmingly well upto Week3 Run2 and I thought it would be OK to sneak in a 20k cycle ride on the same day as a run.

Fit day Friday has turned into weak and wobbly recovery week.

But still pushing on 😸

I may be tired but I'm not having any sharp pains or niggles.

Looking to the future, I registered for Parkrun last week. Registree number is under the recent landmark number of 5 million. Graduation WILL be a Parkrun in November.

And I get a lie in on Saturday. 😸😸😸

Think we all have at least one ‘mad’ moment when we think we can do more than is sensible. File it under ‘note to self’ and go smash week 4 😊🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️

I think I will tickle week 4 and use the pointy cushions on week 5 😸

Great job. Half way depends how you look at it... you’re now half way to the 30 minute runs... next week you’re half way to the end.

No matter which you want, you’ll be graduating at that park run in a few weeks.

Great job again. Maybe cycle on different days?

It was a one-off. My youngest is in Scouts and we couldn't make it to the organised bike even.

He wasn't allowed to do it himself so I volunteered to accompany him and provide evidence of wearing safety kit and Strava mapped the ride.

That’s cool... I should dust off my old bike, I’ve been lazy for years and have an electric one 😂

I wonder who that 5 millionth runner is going to be?

You are doing really well Katnap, those weeks will fly by.

It's already happened but GDPR and all that means it's upto the individual to let themselves be known.
