Female age 60 - just starting the program, just complete day 1 of second week. I’m really hoping I start to find it easier. I do yoga and other strength exercises regularly, but need to improve my cardio fitness drastically.

Well done. I’m on week two too!

I’m on my fifth repeat of week 1 ! If it’s a real struggle, try slowing down just a little while you build up your stamina. Running on softer surfaces than tarmac also helps. Happy running !

I second the suggestion about choice of surface. My body really feels the difference. Sure, tarmac's faster but that's not the point.

Stick with it. It will settle. Take it slowly, as everyone keeps posting, cos it's the best way, and you'll surprise yourself a bit further down the line, when you realise how you've improved.

You will. I too found it hard at fast but you will surprise yourself. Trust in the programme. I am on week 5 now and look forward to every run. They may seem daunting but you will surprise yourself. I feel so much better, I sleep better and find myself turning my nose up at all the bad things I used to eat.
