Hi Everyone, I am a newbie on here. I am about to start the couch to 5k tomorrow. I have been out and got a secondhand treadmill as a back up. I have bought the treadmill for the days when I can't get out( I care for my husband who has a muscular dystrophy).
I used to do lots of sport and really miss it. I know that even though I am on all day I am extremely unfit so I thought I need to do something for myself and at the same time improve my level of fitness.
Looking forward to it and of course to chatting to you all on here xx

Good for you. It sounds like you have everything well planned. When I started the programme two and a half months ago I bought a second hand treadmill but have never used it as I've found myself going out in all weathers - never thought that would happen! It sounds ideal for your situation though. Good luck on your first run. By the way, I graduated a couple of weeks ago, although I don't have my badge yet.
I'm just about to start Week 3 and it's great! You have some fantastic 'Wow, this is me' days and some 'Urgh, this isn't me' days but everyone on here is amazing and will gee you on whatever you're feeling! Good luck and well done for starting to make a difference!
I wish you good luck, don't forget to let us know how your getting on, this is the perfect place for support. I started C25K around 5 weeks ago and am really enjoying it - never ran before, not even at school so this is new to me but I am loving it. X
