Nice to get away from my desk for some lunch time exercise, first three minutes bit of a struggle but it always takes a few minutes for my body to realise that I'm not sitting down as usual and that my legs are actually running - after that very enjoyable and plenty in the tank to accelerate gently through the last five minutes from my jogging pace of 7.8k p/h up to 10k p/h which pace i can only maintain for 60 seconds! Anyway. Laura says I'm running more than I'm walking now which is great - hopefully polish off w4 on Wednesday

Good job... pace will come over time and I do love burning energy in that last 60 seconds myself. Have a great run on Wednesday.

Great job. Although I am due to run W7R1 I haven't increased my pace in the last 5 minutes of my completed runs. Something to think about. 🤔

Don't think you should worry, you're doing great. It's just something I like to do if I can, not sure if I will be able to when the runs get longer 😊

Nicely done steviej good run. I like to give it a little blast at the end too, but cocked it up a bit today and thought there were 60 seconds left... started going for it and then Laura told me I was halfway through the final five minutes eeeek!!! Maybe my other half is right when she says I never listen 🙄

Nice one steviej99 😸

Do you feel ready for week 5?

Yep looking forward to the longer runs. So far not getting any knee issues so the gradual increase in running seems to be working great. No issues with my legs as far as the distance is concerned main issue seems to be stamina but I trust the programme! So I've got to remember to keep it slow and steady and week 5 will be a breeze!!
