I am on week 4.
For the short runs (1-3 minutes) I can run at pace 9.5km/h
However, for runs of 5 minutes + I am "running" at a pace of 7.5km/h.
Is this too slow? Does anyone else do this? How to improve speed?

Don’t worry about pace just run at a comfortable speed so you can complete the run sections.
It’s hard to not get caught up with pace but until you are running longer periods it’s not really worth thinking about.
Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

Your name says it all, which is why you need to stick with the easy conversational pace, which will keep injury risk minimal.
Enjoy your journey.
No pace is too slow.
As long as you are runnjng then you are safely doing the programme.🏃♀️🏃♀️
Slow is good, it builds endurance, your pace now is going to be better for that than 9.5kph. Don’t worry about speed on the programme.
As others have said, don’t worry about pace. As you progress through the programme to the longer runs, you will need to keep the speed down as the aim is to build stamina not speed.
