I’ve always suffered from dreadful energy levels and I’m always looking for ways to overcome it. Is there anyone out there who has the same issue AND is doing the challenge?
I haven’t started yet and am looking for info and inspiration.
Cheers

Not the same problem, I know, but I’ve started C25k and I’m morbidly obese, to the point of carrying an extra person in fat (I call it Ethel !) I’m finding the programme really helpful because it’s so flexible. I’m repeating week 1 for the fourth time just now. At first I could only walk at two different paces but now I’m building up stamina and starting to jog a little. You can take as long as you need, there’s no pressure, and the experienced folk on here always advise embracing your inner snail ! Well done you for thinking of starting in spite of your difficulties. Hope you do give it a go and find it helps x
Yes I have hashimotos and suffer with chronic fatigue as one of the main symptoms. When I exercise I do have more energy than when I don’t. However take it slow. Run one day and take 2/3 days off and very slowly cut the rest days. But I found it is more than just exercise. What do the doctors say about your fatigue, is it inflammatory related? What are your iron, vitamin D and B levels like? It is also all about your diet too. Sorry about the long essay. It is something I’m passionate about because we don’t have to live like this there’s hope and light T the end of the tunnel.
It might be worth seeing a nutritional therapist to look at the underlying causes and advice on changes to increase your energy levels
