I already know that I need to postpone my today's run, as I on my normal hour I have a one-time class and on top of that my body aches, i.e. my muscles are tired and I feel that they would use an extra rest day.
I am so terrified that my rhythm will be destroyed and I got discouraged.
My dear family, please, PLEASE, kick my bottom, if I won't post tomorrow (Saturday) that I've completed my run! My plan is 8am groceries, straight after - run. However, as I am a bit I'll and exhausted, I may wake up later. The bottom line is that I want / need to run tomorrow.
I hope this post will keep me accountable and in case of motivation disaster I can count on you.
Thank you in advance,
Iga

Just go... I am heading out now... Have felt a bit yukky this week ... but I know this will help. I am a lot older than you, and I am going now... I want to read your post report later today...So.... please... get that run done!
Do you think that despite above-chest illness and muscle fatigue / ache I should go today anyway?
I need to consider it again. It will be later than my recent runs, but it still be today.
I am not sure if those pains and aches and illness are not just my gremlins trying the last thing. Usually it was illness or injury that was stopping me.
Hmm...
Waiting for more advice / encouragement / discouragement in the area of doing my run today late evening vs tomorrow morning.
One of the main things I struggle is go out, and having a constant schedule was/is helping me. I am creating habit of going straight after work on Mon, Wed, and Fri. I maybe would run after the class, but I am worried about my tired muscles and generally the illness that is trying really hard to get to me. I forgot how tricky my gremlins can be.
I’ll be watching for your post tomorrow but only if your physically fit to do so. Don’t push if your not 100%.. You won’t loss your rhythm that quickly. Take care of yourself. C25K will still be here waiting for you 👍🏻
Anyway, I am taking my meds, drinking lot of warm tea. But I am far from chained to bed Sometimes it's hard to find that balance and threshold between I am I'll / I need rest and those are only excuses / I am a wuss.
You’ll most probably feel the benefit of an extra day not running... we are on an intense programme here, and the break won’t hold you back. Don’t worry about it.
I know one day won't hold me of, but you know how easy it is to transform 1 day into 2, 2 into 3, and then you are realising that the last time you run was 3 or 4 weeks ago. That's why, I you won't hear from me till the end of Saturday. Kick my a$$ - I mean it!
As you know I usually have my 2 days of rest during weekends, so I'm starting each week with more energy and well rested muscles I know week 5 isn't piece of cake and moving my rest day before means I will have 4 instead of 3 runs in this week.
I will see today in the evening. Maybe I will feel good enough to go
Having a good routine is important for it to become the normal but being ill or life can get int the way,
Look after yourself 1st you can't run if you are too ill , running will wait
Thank you Rob. I know that the rule of thumb is if it is above chest then go run, when it's below than definitely no running. My infection is in sinuses and throat. I don't know from where I have this muscle aches. Maybe I had very realistic dream of some kind of fight? Hmmm...
Come on IgaT...we all know how much you benefit from running & so do you...there’s nothing like it...I feel happy when I read your posts because of the benefits you feel...just get your trainers on, don’t overthink it...just go...you know you want to really...sending some of my ‘built up from resting this week’ strength to help you out there xxxxxx
