Wk6run3...worth the pain of run 1&2!

That was epic, just got into a rhythm and didn’t stop. Realised 10 minutes in I wasn’t even breathing heavily. I hated run 1 and 2 this week but I can see that they were necessary as I was ready for today. A little tear and she said I’m officially a runner ❤️🏃‍♀️

Well, I think I pushed it a bit on my last run and strained my achilles. It was sore until yesterday so I've rested. Bit sad as I feel like I'm losing momentum. I'm sure I can run on Friday though.

I’m sure you’ll be fine, good luck for Friday and let me know how you get on. 👍🏻🏃‍♀️

Great job... those intervals set you up to run, and you’re there... just running now til the end! Enjoy week 7... you got this and then some.

Fantastic! This is so encouraging to read, we've just done week 6, Run 2 tonight and I have to say, I haven't enjoyed them as much as previous runs so I'm glad to hear they're worth it in the end! I trust the program 100% but I think I've decided that intervals are no longer my friend 😂

That’s exactly how I felt, both runs knocked my confidence a bit and I really didn’t enjoy them. Run 3 made me feel as good as I did before and then some! It still feels strange that am now glad ‘having a break’ is no longer part of my run! I’m a changed woman!

So cool - it’s great when it suddenly clicks and you are in the zone.

I huffed and puffed the first 4-5 weeks, but when I hit week 6 then I knew I had found a sustainable pace and have been able to push on for longer times / distances

That’s great, I’m looking forward to going faster when I’m ready!

You will love it. I just took it slowly. I even had some reserves to speed up in the last minute (Laura tells you to try it if you can!) I look forward to seeing your post tomorrow! Go for it! 👍🏻🏃‍♀️
