Week 2 run 1 the 2nd!

Repeating week 2. Still struggling with the 90 seconds so there's no way I can do 3 minutes. Totally fine with having to repeat a week already. Don't want to push myself too much. No snazzy leggings today though! Xx

I thought the same thing!! Try the 3 minutes! You might surprise yourself!! I found that the consistent running was much better than the starting and stopping each time!

I really need to get me some "snazzy leggings" but right now it's too hot where i'm at to where anything but shorts!!!

You have all the time in the world to complete C25K Cazzy__G ! Take it slowly and repeat if you want to, but if you trust the programme, you might just be surprised at what you can do!

Are you trying to sprint rather than a gentle jog ? Slow is the way forward even if you think it's no faster than a walk ... don't think I can't think I flipping well can !!! 👍🤓

I think one of the things that doesn't help is that everybody wants to complete their 'run'.

If it was that the expectation was to complete a slow plodding sweaty joffle (jog/shuffle) we would all put a lot less pressure on ourselves.

The plan is to build up slowly slowly over time.

Slowly is also the pace you want.

Slow it down.

I looked on my Endomondo history today and my pace is the same in week 8 as it was in week 1. But I can maintain it.

Give the 3 minutes a try but at a slower pace.

You may surprise yourself. (I think you will!)

None of us started this program as runners and we have all been where you are now.

Even Oldfloss started back on W1R1 !

Believe in yourself. Try it. And if you only get to 2 minutes it's still further than your 90 seconds ;)

I think you would surprise yourself (and feel great after). I agree there is nothing wrong with repeating a run and not overdoing it but this programme is designed to gently push yourself a bit more each run. Give it a go, worst that can happen is you make it a practice run - bet you finish it though:)

So no snazzy leggings therefore no moving on in the programme. Therefore easy peasy, lemon squeezy... I know not awfully mature.., but give the next week's first run a go. You may be pleasantly surprised, a lot of us were...
