I've just done this run this morning. I think it was the hardest run yet and the first time I've looked like an actual beetroot by the end.

I overtook a lady walking two dogs and had to apologise to her as her greyhound started running after me! Am hoping Run 2 will be easier.

I’ve just done this run today too. Personally it wasn’t as bad as I feared, especially as I was not in the best of health and had had a 5-day break since my previous run (the first time I’d had more than a 2-day gap).

But if you look at previous threads on this forum you’ll see it’s a really common one to find difficult.

Reading this now convinces me that there is definitely a correlation between recovery after W5R3 and performance in W6R1.

As long as you are the tortoise that is fine The lovely long runs are just made for relaxing into..start slow and stay slow
