Hi all , w6r1 was supposed to be yesterday. I've heard every excuse but will you let me off if I tell you my son's girlfriend had a baby last night😁 My first grandchild 😊 And he is adorable πŸ€— ❀❀❀🌢

Aww. Congratulations on the little jalapeΓ±o. Perhaps you can take the little one on buggy runs.

Aw congratulations, lovely news! I think that's a pretty good excuse to not go for a run and the fact that you are jumping for joy will still count as activity!!! 🎈x

Don't worry.. the exercise you will get pushing the small one, will make up for a missed run!

Believe me.. I know.. I average 45 miles per week ! Plus my three runs a week on top :)

But it is blooming marvellous...:)

Huge Congratulations.. my small granddaughter is nearly 5 months now.. Enjoy!

Aw congratulationsπŸ˜€

My niece was doing Couch but ended up with a new sprog. She has been given an utterly brilliant second hand running pushchair πŸ˜€πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ I know your baby is too wee at the moment but you can plan ahead. Parkrun springs to mind πŸ˜€

I know exactly how you must be feeling as I was flying high for ages when my grandson was born too. Enjoy your time with him.

Lovely reason for delaying a run - huge congratulations. You may find you miss or delay a few more at first but as Oldfloss said, you will get plenty of exercise walking pushing the buggy :-D My grandson slept better if pushed fast, too - even better for keeping fit and helping the running. Then, being able to run will come in very handy at the toddler stage - my grandson is 19 months and the speed and distance he can run are impressive. Enjoy - it's a lovely time.

So many replies, thank you everyone😁 I am blessed to have such a lovely family and you lovely lot to talk to when they're tired of listening πŸ˜πŸ˜‚

I really appreciate the congrats and kind words, and I must say (biased) he's just gorgeous 😊😊😊

I will remain on plan though πŸ€“ As some have pointed out, I'm going to need the energy πŸ˜‚πŸŽ‰πŸ˜ŠπŸŒΆ
