W2r3 complete!

So long week two it’s been emotional! I’m not sure how I’m going to deal with the 3 min running intervals on Thursday, they are looking pretty daunting right about now. Probably doubly so tomorrow when I’m aching from today and Pilates. Today was a good run overall I think. Certainly better than w2r2. 😀🤸🏻‍♂️

Well done you! You will be surprised when you start the 3 minutes how easy they are. I felt exactly the same as you last week but the programme is designed for couchies like us so believe in the plan... that is something I have learnt!

I keep seeing that advice! 😀 i just need to have faith. After each run I know it’s true but trying to believe it before it happens is a lot. But w1r1 there was no convincing me I could do 90seconds in week 2 never mind 6 times per run three times!

But how good does it feel when you do it? I think I am finding week 3 easier than week 2 as I found week 2 a bit stop start. Week 3 runs feel like they are done really quickly!

You’ll do the 3s the same way you did the 90s ones and before them the 60s ones. They’re all daunting if you just look at individual run length. Add up the running in each session and you’ll see that progression isn’t so fast. Week 2 is 20 minutes of activity.,, week 3 is 18. Half of week 3 is running... so that’s 9 minutes... you did 8 minutes running on day one! You got this!

Thanks unfitnomore. That is some sage talking. And when you put it like that it doesn’t seem as terrifying. It’s just that it’s all in one go! Side note, everyone is super supportive on here, it’s lovely!

Run 3 was better than run 2, so you're ready for next week. 👍👍👍

Just remember to start slow and slow down more if you need to.

You'll be fine. 💪💪💪

You will do it no problem, it is all part of the progression in the program..

Trust the program, believe in yourself and run as slow as you need to so you complete each timesd run ..you have got this 😀

Just did W3r1. The last 3 minutes were a bit of a struggle but I slowed down and did it.

You'll be fine!
