You go girl ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Shin pain is sadly not uncommon. You might find going just a little slower helps, because it reduces impact. Also, if you normally run on tarmac, try switching to a softer surface such as grass sometimes. Happy running !

Oooh if I go slower I might end up going backwards! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I have been running on tarmac/road so will give grass a try.....thank you!

Hope it helps. Don’t worry about speed - the main thing is getting out there. I’m just about to repeat week 1 for the 4th time, so I’m an expert on slow 😁

Lol I was just looking at the different weeks, looks like a big gap from week 6 to 7?

Trying not to think about that yet 🤪

Great job! “Lardy arse” is on notice, this princess is toning up!

Some pains are normal... with shin pain it’s sometimes due to how your foot lands. Due to wearing shoes with a slight heel, we become conditioned to land heel first, this isn’t something a small child does. Have a think in your next run and if you are landing on your heal, concentrate on landing the foot flat and under your body... this puts less strain in the ankle, less stress through the shin and lets the knee do what it’s supposed to and absorb what’s left rather than taking the shock.

Enjoy week 2

Well done Princess! This is a heck of a morning to brave going out ... 💦💦💦💦💦

But just think, you did it - and your lardy arse will be getting worried. It’ll lose its name sooner rather than later! 😅😅

Run done ✅ Was good 😊not actually very different to 60 secs! So looking forward to Wednesday now. I’ve listened to Micheal (which I liked) Sarah (which I didn’t find very inspired) today was Jo Whiley and she was great, very encouraging I’ll stick with her from now on. Good luck with your wk 2 you’ll be fine 😊
