Just finishing week 7
There's only one way to find out - get out there and have a go!
You are... slow and steady.. start slow, stay slow, and let the new legs begin to find their happy pace. We will be right there with you!
I still have good days and not so good ones! I would give it my best shot, but if, in the end, 25 mins is a bit much, no shame in just repeating the week. Lots of us have had to do that. This may be totally irrelevant, but since I bought a running watch I have kept an eye on my heart rate (after swearing that I wouldn't!). I have found, a few weeks on from graduating, that my average heart rate on a run is lower than it used to be and the highest rate on each run is much closer to the avaerage than it used to be, but my running speed has improved. I think that means I am getting fitter, but the improvement in my case has lagged behind the programme. Running certainly feels easier(most days) now. You might find the same; your body might just need a bit longer to take the longer runs in its stride. Give it your best though; you can do it!!
