Always daunting starting something new JimmyJangles. The best advice l was given was to think slow then slower again 🐌🐒 Slow & steady wins this race!! I never thought l would get past week 1, but here l am on week 5. Lots of advice & Support on this forum. Good luck on your journey πŸ‘πŸ»

Well done to you JimmyJangles on your journey here on C25K, 😊 but remember running πŸƒ on itself won't reduce your chances of losing weight. You can ask your doctor or some friends for dietary advice while doing this training course.

Welcome. This will get you into shape pretty quickly. Weight loss is another thing, as AlMorr has said. Weight Loss NHS forum on here is a good source of knowledge on that side of things.

You have made absolutely the right decision JJ! This incredible programme will transform your life, shape, everything! πŸ‘

The first week is mentally the hardest, so good for you for getting as far as you have. You’ll be just fine if you stick with the programme, no skipping runs/rest days. And embrace your inner 🐌. Befriend one, and let it win every time you run. πŸ˜€

Good luck! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

i felt exactly the same, really struggled to do all the 60 second runs, i run slower than a snail but i'm now on week 7 2nd run on Saturday, during park run. believe you can do it and you will.

good luck with your running journey, this site is amazing full of motivational people and loads of helpful advice.

I found it difficult when first starring but I was doing it in a hilly area! Now about to start week 6 - can’t believe I have got this far. Watch those pounds fall off - I have lost 7kg plus since starting. Good luck I am sure you will be fine.
