I have been bitten by the running bug after completing couch to 5k app over the summer - before then I have never considered myself a runnner... always told myself I couldn’t run!

I am now keen for a new challenge ... can anyone recommend a 5k to 10k app that is as good as couch to 5k please?

Hi . Well done!! I'm not sure about apps. But a lot of folk on here recommend Ju-Ju's plan . I'm planning to start it soon. Good luck. Ps I kept listening to wk9 for a few runs after graduation

Thanks for this - yes I am doing the week 9 runs for the last couple of runs too 😊 - love the encouragement you get in your way round - feel like I could go a bit longer and need that same support! Thanks will look at Ju-Ju’s plan!

All my considered thoughts on post C25K running are here healthunlocked.com/couchto5... including links to apps.

Juju’s plan has been followed by many graduates, so I’d certainly recommend that route... looks great to me too, almost makes me wish I had 10k ambitions.

The spirit is definitely willing... feel like I could push it a bit further ... feels great as before I started couch 2 5k I couldn’t run for a bus! Thanks for the guidance! 👍😊

Carry on and increase your distance by 10 percent every week, this is what I did without any app and last Saturday I ran my first 10k race in 1hour 10mins and 9 seconds. Don’t rely on apps, music helps though. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice - have been reading about the 10% increase so good to hear it works! Congrats on your first 10K! That is a fab time 😊 ... yes I am hopeless without a good playlist! Love running in time to the best of the music!
