I have never sweated so much, especially after the run!

It was a good run today, although the last third of the run was a struggle. I was able to push myself to run faster in the last minute, so I do have it in me.

I decided to download Strava before my run today, as I like stats (avg pace 9.27 mi?). Trouble was my mobile was pulling down my running shorts while I was running - a bit annoying, but it only showed a bit of my boxer shorts. I wasn't showing too much.

Great job.

Pace doesn’t matter, but to put that in perspective my friend runs marathon and ultra... his recovery runs are 12 minutes per mile... effectively we are doing all recovery running in this programme... you’re sub 30 minute 5k pace and yeah, that’s gonna be a struggle to maintain, especially in the wind. His advice, and I remember it from 30 years ago too, is to increase pace or add distance, never both. Also don’t look for a PB every time. Lots of us graduate and then look for speed, seems you may graduate and then need to find your slow!
