Wow that was a difficult one, I actually had to walk for a minute up hill as I came across what can only be described as a blinking mountain 😞 but I managed the rest so feeling pretty impressed with my self. I really didn't think I'd have the 28 minutes in the tank!
I'm wanting to take my measurements to see if running is helping with the inch loss as my scales have decided I've gained weight (I know it's due to muscle build or at least I hope it is) where do I start what do I need to measure?
Oh and it was raining too I've got over my fear of running in the rain 😁

I'm at Slimming World and since I started this I've lost no weight at all.. I'm on W7R2. Now saying that I've lost inches! And plenty of them too.. I've measured my boobs, thighs, waist (took me awhile it's very hard to find lol) hips/bum/bottom spare tyre (That's just one area lol!
Scales aren't my friend at the mo, but the measuring tape is x
I measure the tops of my thighs, under my boobs, over my boobs, your waist,(found my long hidden belly button there lol) and around your bum/hips. All naked 🙈
Thanks il be on that later then to not lose where I write them down lol ☺️
I was thinking the same thing regarding my weight. I seem to have gained some put my trousers feel looser! I forgot to take my measurements before I started c25k which would have been helpful 🤦🏻♂️
Oh and we all hate inclines. Even the smallest ones! 😂 they are the devils work. Haha.
Thanks, ye I didn't do any measurements either I have no choice but to run inclines round where I am, but decided to change my route and oh my days I got half way up and that was it I was running on empty 😲
Yeah but you still smashed it!! Your body will be getting stronger for it too. Unfortunately it’s quite flat where I am so can even attempt a hill unless I drive somewhere first!
Are you planning on doing the B210K after you graduate?
That's the plan yes, some days I'd long for a flat run I did my first long run on a cycle path so had to drive to it but I decided to stop being a wimp and get doing these hills. My goal is to be able to run the waterfalls walk where I live! It's 4 and a half miles but lots of hills and lots of steps ☺️
Sounds like it’s a lovely place to run! I find it takes me about 30mins to get warmed up. I seem to struggle a little until then. Which is pretty weird I guess. The problem for me is being in a small village there are only so may footpaths without running on a road which I’m thinking I might have to do.
😂 don’t put yourself down. I’m sure you’re not that slow. People who don’t run don’t realise what it’s like to run for any period of time. Let alone try run up hills!!
I’m off out 1st thing tomorrow. I will probably be more 🐢 than 🐇 😂 I need to get some man leggings ready for the horrid weather. I may just risk it with my shorts 😬
I want to try and do 8km but don’t really plan my route that well so never sure until I’ve finished my run.
Fabulous stuff Jessie! I feel your pain with hills. They’re not too bad on my regular running route, but the 3 parkruns near me have more than their fair share! 😩
But well done you nonetheless! You’ll get fitter quicker. 👍
Yes, it’s common to not lose much weight, but instead lose inches. You’re doing brilliantly, so keep it up. You’re nearly there! 👏👏
Great job. That mountain can have its ass kicked another day.
Going off the photos I think you’ll be happy with the tape measure... you look healthy and younger. Keep going just as you are, enjoy closing this out.
