I understand how you feel. I got to week 5 and had a month out so returned by going back to week 4, expecting to struggle but found it much easier than expected. Think the important thing is to feel positive that you're returning rather than abandoning it. Good luck and let us know how you get on โ˜บ

Just make sure you're fully fit before restarting. It will be demotivating if you go back too soon. You've done so much you'll be fine. Go back a week and you'll smash it! Hope you're feeling better very soon

You lose very little, if any, condition in two weeks, so can probably pick up where you left off.

Just take it nice and slow and see what you can manage.

How about just trying a 20 minute run to start with ?

I had nearly 3 weeks off when I was away with family. I found that I picked it back up fairly easily. Give yourself time to get properly fit and then take it slow and see how you do.

You donโ€™t need to keep up with anyone. This is your journey. You will get there.

My journey to week 9 was very stop-start. Life gets in the way so we all get there at our own pace. For me the biggest win is getting back out there after any sort of break.Anything on that first run is a win ๐Ÿ˜Š.

I find it helpful to remember how far I have come when faced with a new challenge. It also reminds me that running is a positive experience... changes from a chore to a treat then ๐Ÿ˜† โ€” iโ€™m still working on that becoming an automatic thought process ๐Ÿ˜‚.

Hope you feel better soon and that first run back isnโ€™t too far away for you ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ
