Graduation.......and knickers!!

Well yesterday I graduated for the second time, only this time injury free (touch wood). I ran W9 R2 & R3 until I reached 5k. On R2 it was 35 mins and on R3 it was 32 mins. I’m really chuffed, I found R3 hard but that’s probably because I was trying for a better time.

Anyway the testing time is coming in as much as I need to stick with it, consolidate and build on my progress. So onwards and upwards.

On another note can anyone recommend sports knickers/shorts. Something that stays in place?!

Congrats on your run and time. You certainly must have dug deep. Sorry can’t give any advice re sportswear undies. 🙂

Well done you, and double congrats for making it through the second time .. I'm hoping to join you in a few weeks ... its difficult, doing the C25K, running outside, in all weathers, and not picking up an injury. Good luck with your 5k's thats a very respectable time.

as for your knickers ... I use the Lonsdale 'Boy Shorts', pick them up in Sports Direct (Other sports outlets are available) :-)

Congratulations on graduating well done 👏👏👏👏

You could take a look at Runderwear.. yes it is a proper name lol

Thanks to your question on running undies. It led me to read some interesting stories of how to get myself ready for parkruns. Thanks slow-bob for the fantastic website. Who knew all this existed for us embarking on being a runner.

Great achievement, great times, congratulations!

M and S , Bridgett Jones style are my run pants of choice. They are wide enough in the important place to stay put😉

Congrats on the graduation, and impressive times too! The other issue, I can't really help with!!!
