Very proud moment

Having completed C25K and now also 3 ParkRuns I was invited to speak in Assembly to 7 - 10 year olds and explain how I had the courage (theme for the term) to keep going even when things got tough. As the Head's PA, and for these children, an extremely old person it was lovely as they listened to my journey from gasping after a 1 minute run to 30 minutes non-stop - even had a couple of photos to show it was true. The clapping and cheer at the end was amazing. Have even inspired a couple of colleagues to give it a go. So no turning back now!

That’s wonderful... C25K juniors to follow?

Hope your colleagues enjoy their journeys too

That is wonderful that you told all those children of your running experience with the C25K running journey. I hope that it inspired both other staff and pupils at the school about the benefits of exercise and particularly running 🏃

Oh that’s lovely! The children would have been impressed (they might even be tempted to try junior parkrun), and your less than fit colleagues might have been inspired. Win-win!

Well done you! 👏👏

Well done you. You have been an inspiration to them all. I love to see all the children at parkrun and hope they will carry it on to their adult lives.
