Feeling proud!!

I'm over 22 stone and have always wanted to run but never had the stamina (or fitness). I'd heard fab reviews of C25k so decided to give it a go. I couldn't even manage the 30 second runs in W1 but I wasn't embarrassed, I was more proud with myself for giving it a go. I'm now beginning W4 and was over the moon with myself yesterday for running 5 mins continuously! Get in!!

Super effort, you will learn to love those endorphins at the end. I agree with the positive comments on c25k its such a brilliant programme. Like you I struggled at the start but persevered and now I'm doing a 10 miler in 2 weeks.... This time next year you will look back with a grin like a Cheshire cat. It really makes me smile when I see another person doing the journey with positivity.

Ahhh yeah!!!! The program is amazing, I still remember W1R1.

You're doing great, and it looks like you're enjoying yourself as well.

The program gave me so much confidence that I could do new things and that with perseverance I could conquer many obstacles. I hope you find the same

Happy running

I love your attitude, indeed you should be proud of yourself! Just imagine how proud you'll be to see that grad badge next to your name in a few weeks. Keep us posted xxx

Hi Neenthegreat,

Your doing great and you should feel extremely proud of yourself.

Keep on at the couch to 5k and you will soon have graduated.

The training programme is fantastic and if you do struggle on any week, you can always do the week again.

The more you run the better you will feel and the endorphins will have you smiling from ear to ear.

All the best.

You look amazing, so much enthusiasm and sense of fun too, well done. Every one of us battled through each week, didn't believe we could do the following week but we did. Just nice and steady, if you are not going backwards, it is definitely running!! X

Superb effort & well done on such a fantastic acheivent. Doesn't it feel fabulous?

Hi Neenthegreat i can relate to exactly how you feel but i think you should be proud. i am very slow. i have managed to complete a park run (5k) in 52.49 which is a very slow time but still a pb for me.

I do feel a bit embarrassed about my times but I am trying to focus on the fact that i have completed the course without stopping.

5k in 30 minutes, 5k in 40 minutes, 5k in 50 minutes, or 5k in an hour... 5k is still 5k however long it takes slow_and_steady68 . And you've cracked a park run. Well done😊😊😊
