Well chuffed today as I completed my W4R3 this afternoon onboard...

I started this (which I’m glad I did) to pass my time onboard the ship with no shore leave is allowed and no crew change in sight (4 months onboard already and counting ☹️) Lockdown even at sea...

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 4, onwards and upwards to week 5 on board your ship, where are you on the high seas and which bridge is that in the photo?

Hi AlMorr, really looking forward to next week, I’m enjoying it so far and found it very helpful to pass the time at sea:)

Heading north in Gulf of Thailand at the moment Bangkok tomorrow night.

The bridge in the photo is where we dock in Bangkok city.

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

You will be the first person to complete the entire plan on board a ship, that I know of...........at least there are no hills.

Enjoy your journey.

.........or is that voyage?

Thanks IannodaTruffe and glad I found this group. Really helps reading all comments and advice given here (thanks for the link given). It’s a voyage for me, a long voyage with this lockdown and no crew changes till things eases a bit to get relief...

I agree there are no hills onboard but every now and then we roll a bit which make the run more fun 😂

No way! No no way - I don’t have sea legs and I found that out after a very rough Catamaran ferry from Belgium 🇧🇪 to UK 🇬🇧

I honestly thought we weren’t going to make it! It was terrifying!

Earlier on I had expressed my concern - The security guard on board tried to put me at ease and told me he had only been scared once before .. so... once we had finally got into the harbour and after such an awful sailing I had to go find him .. to see if I was just being ridiculous...

he was in his office ... very Green 🤢 and before I had even finished my Q to him he said

‘That was F***ing terrifying’

I walked away thinking I should trust my own judgement!... it was! 🙈

So I cannot imagine doing it in rough seas 🤢

😂😂😂nice to read your post, really make me laugh here lonely onboard and I could imagine you feeling seasick, it does get rough sometimes but lucky on this ship/route we go to nice places coasting not far from land between Burma, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand ...

Wow that’s impressive- I’ve spent quite a lot of time on dive boats and I cannot imagine running on a ship at sea 🌊 I’d be overboard by week 3! Nice to get some different views in your lock down though as you move about
