W6R1 ... wasn’t expecting it to be so hard.

After the euphoria of completing W5R3, today’s session had anti-climax written all over it.

Conditions and speed were the same but something about the stop/start 5/8/5min jogs made it hard ... or is it because it’s Monday?

It’s done but I’m disappointed it didn’t feel more comfortable.

Get well soon to my virtual coach and the legend that is MJ 😘 ... I read on twitter yesterday that he’s had a mini-stroke 😱

Don’t worry this week is historically awful!! just about every one who was running this week when I was on the C25K programme found it a bit of an anti climax and a challenge after the 20 minute run.

It gets better honestly 😀

Thanks for the encouragement, I so want to get to being a comfortable jogger. 👍🏻

Great job... it’s a notoriously tricky run... and you got through it. It’s easy to go a little too fast when returning to intervals. I just did the same run and struggled... but it’s done... 2x10 next

I deliberately went slowly as I’d read it can catch you out. Oh well, onwards to 2 x 10mins. 👍🏻

Don't be disappointed, this run has caught out plenty of folk. It may look easy but the plan ramps up the pressure slightly each week. Remember you did it, not everyone does.

Next time out, have ball it's last one with walking breaks.

Thanks. I thought I was getting on top of the interval runs but clearly not! Bring on the continuous weeks. 👍🏻

I did it this morning too ! Like you I'd read this one was notoriously tricky, so tried to take it slow... but still found it really hard. With all that stopping and starting it seemed my legs were stuck in the "still warming up" phase.

finding it hard 😏

I’ve got to the point where all my runs, well jogs really have no breaks in them and I’m finding it...

Why was it so hard?

First time posting but have been quietly getting through the weeks and (almost) starting to believe...
