Boom💥W4 even with bruised ribs!

Fell and winded myself on Tuesday (dashing about doing chores) and have sulked the rest of the week thinking running was on hold. But after a few days rest I got out there and smashed W4👏🏼

Still on track, still motivated. I can do this.

Anyone out there doubting themselves just keep at it, it's certainly a mood lifter!

Great job. Bruised ribs aren’t fun, but at least they didn’t break. Enjoy week 5, it’s not as scary as it looks, I’m finishing it off later.

Have to admit that W5 looks like my first serious challenge, but I'm keeping the faith and trusting the programme to get me through.

It’s ok... the two 8s had me most worried, but they went well... the 20 is today, and it’s not a worry... I listened to our lovely mentor when he pointed out to someone that 8+8 add 5 minutes brisk walking is more than 20. So, I pushed myself on the 5 walk and the second 8 was really smooth... now I know I got 20 in me, which will be my longest ever run.

Just awaiting confirmation I’m not tail running tomorrow at junior parkrun... I thought it would be all walking, but the ones that do a lap and pull out mean it turns into a run! If I’m doing that it may be run, rip high vis off, throw it at the run director as I run past! Think I’m marshalling!!

Thanks... got my playlist, just waiting for run time now. Lunch done, so a couple of hours I think.

I’m looking at using week one as a jog/run at some point... maybe week 2 as well. How was it?

The reason why I have been rerunning C25K is that after the 4th or 5th Consolidation run after graduation I got a sore hip, it was only sore when I walked fast or ran, so I was off running for about 6 weeks, so I am recaping most of the runs this month, this morning's run went without any problems whatsoever.

That’s cool... hopefully that hip will continue to behave. It’s a great idea for when my knees flare up next. You’ll soon be back at that 5k
