Hello, I’ve just got back from holiday and haven’t run for just under 3 weeks, today is my first run since the holiday and I’m not sure whether to continue from where I was or go back a week or two? I’d just finished W4R5 and so today would be the the first run of week 5. Help! What if I’ve undone all my hard work 😓

Hey Dory, you could try starting back where you left off and see how you get on, or go back to the beginning of W4 and take it nice and slow. I wouldn’t have thought you’d need to go back to W3 - you don’t tend to lose fitness as quickly as you might think.

You definitely won't have undone your hard work.
In my opinion, what you do next is up to you. I am confident that you are capable of W5R1, but the whole point of C25K is that you take it at a pace which is doable for you, so if you would like be happier repeating W4R3 then why not? The most important thing is not to be put off if you need another go to consolidate your fab achievements so far.

Yeah, if you’ve lost fitness it will be by a tiny amount, you should be able to pick up where you left off.
Did you do any walking or swimming.. or just have a wonderful holiday of hedonistic pleasure?
Thing is...head out for a little Irishprincess jogette... your body will tell you how it feels. If you go steady and slow, you ought to be okay..then build on again gently
I did a few walks across the Cliffs in Wales with the dogs and tried to exert myself where I could a little bit I think most of he time there was just having fun. Thank you for your advice 🙂
