Making progress......Week 6, run 2 in the bag!

Here is Mr Squiggy! He was in a 'Let's go faster mood' today, probably due to his recent hair cut (not feeling too warm!). I had to smile at Laura's advice to go nice and steady - impossible with Mr Squiggs attached! He pulls very hard at the start but will suddenly dart sideways or stop!! There are just too many nice smells πŸ˜‰. As the run progresses he does settle into a steady pace but I have to be alert for sudden changes in direction! Pleased with my steady progress but a long way to go before I am back to my pre injury fitness. Happy running everyone πŸ˜€

Welcome back... you’ll soon be back to full strength for sure. Mr Squiggy seems to run like I used to play golf... I was always off to the side in the long grass sniffing around too πŸ˜‚

Ooh lovely dog but be careful if he’s darty. My sister was on her way back from puppy training ( the irony of it!!) with lead in one hand and bag of poo in the other and the puppy, realised she was nearly home darted across in front of her, tangled her in the lead, and Carina fell flat on her face. Didn’t put her hands down to save herself as they were full. She grazed and bruised various limbs but fell onto her face on gravel, put her teeth right through her bottom lip, chipped a tooth and bruised and grazed her chin.

It’s nearly healed up now but she has been referred to the Maxillary chap now as they think there might be something still in there. Not good.

Luckily her son was just driving up and managed to pick her up and get her home ok but it could be worse if you are running. Take care

Oh dear, so sorry to hear about your sister, how awful for her and very painful I am sure ☹️. He is quite good most of the time and I make sure that I am not running directly behind him. But concentration is required which takes my mind off the hard work! I do hope your sister improves soon.
