Trouble with Week4

Just done W4R3. W4 was tough compared to W3. I had to slow down to complete the runs. I have not exercised for 5 years, 60 years old and overweight. Should I repeat W4 or press on to W5? Thanks for any advice.

Finding it tough is not a good idea or reason for repeating week 4, as long as you don't stop completely you should carry on with week 5

Onwards and upwards. Your body will sort itself in the rest day(s) now and prepare you for W5.

Slowing down is the best way to get through this. Kudos for doing the other weeks up a gear. You’re doing great. It’s supposed to be tough... go at the next run.

Keep going with a positive mindset and you will be fine.

Definitely keep up the good work! It’s supposed to be hard, you’re changing your life and as they say - nothing worth having ever comes easy. We’ve all found it tough at one point or another, you’re doing just great. But... if you really struggle with Week 5 (I’m sure you won’t) there’s no shame in repeating a week
