So I graduated last week. Chuffed to bits. Still can’t quite make 5km in 30min more 42min but I can run 30 min non stop!
After my Thai massage reward and 1 week off consolidating I feel absolutely lost!!?!? I didn’t know what to do so I did my first 30min non stop on a cross trainer at the gym. I covered 5k in 35min - surely that not same as running??? Felt easier though.
Do I just go get out there and carry on with the 30min on my own? What do I use now- app? I don’t know if I can do without someone nagging at me in my ear 😳😏
Help anyone!! 🙈😳😏😮

I started out with one weeks consolidating at 30 mins and then began to branch out into new routes, going further etc. Ran past the same man repairing his drive this morning twice, enjoyed saying hello again! I'm also enjoying running for longer, managed around 45 minutes or so, for a 6k or so. Just keep plugging away, unless you want to really push yourself and do juju's bridge to ten k? That's a viable option next, after you've mastered 5k for a few weeks.
Try a Parkrun, join a running club or group, do a Bridge to 10km program, just go out on your own enjoying it, run somewhere new, ask your friend if you can run with her (then back out because she's running 8 MILES), download Runkeeper and try all the funny voices, try Ceilidh dancing 😁
