Hello Everyone, I’m on W3 R2 however I’ve woken up with knee pain, do I try and run anyway or have another rest day? Any advice appreciated!

Pain = No running. Simples. Give it another day and see how it feels. A lot of us have early week "knee soreness". More stretching and some knee-strengthening should sort that out quickly. But if it's pain and not just a bit sore and if it ever hurts when you run, you stop.

Hope it calms down soon xx

I agree with sallenson. Soreness/aching is normal and generally diminishes when you get moving, plus it’ll lessen the fitter you get. Pain is different - could be nothing, could be something which might sideline you for weeks.

Take a rest, monitor your knees and pop to the GP if they’re not getting better in a couple of days.

Good luck! 👍🏻 😀

Definitely rest it, you can always use I've and elevation to reduce pain.

See a physio if no improvement as a GP is likely to tell you not to run 😱😱

Thanks, I already had soreness in left knee after an old fracture, now the right knee...it’s frustrating 🙄, definitely need Physio 👍
