Hi just completed week3 run1 - looked at my fit bit and actually just under 3km, is this ok? Seems low, and not sure if this is about what is expected at this stage?

The aim of the C25K program is to run for 30 minutes three times in a week.

At no point does the program mention speed, pace or distance. OK the program is called C25K, but that is simply more catchy than the more accurate C2R430m3xi1w.

You're running. That's all that matters right now. Ignore speed and distance.

I don't think this training program would work if it was called

:-C2R430M3xi1w, that looks more like some complicated University Computer Program

C25K better, At first I thought it was something to do with running 25 kilometres.

You weren’t the only one 😀. Took me ages to work it out and that was after looking around the web site, not the app! No hope for me (although I can now do 25k+)

Nothing is expected of you at this stage other than completing each run. As long as you do that you are doing it right. As the runs get longer you may find you go slower but again that’s ok, it’s all part of this wondrous plan.

C25K is just the beginning, there’s a whole world out there to learn about but first you need to graduate which is ‘just’ running for 30 mins non-stop.

Enjoy the journey, don’t put any unnecessary pressure on yourself, there really is no need to. This is for fun.

to add to everyone's comments that it doesn't matter, there is also no 'expected' distance since everyone is different (height, fitness, sex, prior injuries, etc etc) so as long as you are jogging lightly at your own comfortable pace, it is all fine :)
