My blog appeared twice, and sometimes my replies to other peoples' comments just disappear into the ether. Is it just me, or are others struggling as well?

Anyone else having problems posting? Not sure what I'm doing wrong
YES!! Have more or less given up using the site - very frustrating because the content is great! But the site is slow and the forum software seems to be junk....
Yesterday I had problems and gave up on some thoughts I was going to share.
I really wish we could have the usual forum layout, so we could easily see if/when posts we're interested in have had new replies.
I agree! I like the idea of seeing responses from a blog I've responded to. I wish it was kinda setup like Facebook. Gayle
I'm never quite sure if I have answered a post or not, which is a bit of a nuisance. There must be so many good thoughts and ideas we're missing out on, like yours, Swanscot. Are you going to try again? (hint, hint )
I've had some problems posting but if I use the icon to go back a page on the browser, I usually get another attempt at posting.
I have in the past lost a long, wordy blog so I now try to remember to highlight and copy the text before I post, just in case in doesn't work and I have to sart from scratch. It is frustrating though - I wonder if it is just because the site is much more busy than was originally anticipated ? There are so many new posters since I embarked on the program in February 2012.
Me too - a whole bunch of replies disappeared into cyberspace!
I find this site is pretty variable, in terms of it not finding pages, things appearing twice/not at all and the dreaded spambot! The worst one for me is the "comment not saved, try again after some time" message. Pretty frustrating stuff at times!
I agree it would be more user friendly if it was set up like many other forums where active blogs would stay at the top of the list and also if there were more sub-areas, so you could focus in on the particular aspect you are interested in more - such as a particular week, or 5K+ podcasts or topics on gear, diet, injury etc.
But Health Unlocked is huge, there are so many communities, I can't imagine anything about the format, layout will be able to change unfortunately without a significant overhaul of all the communities.
Just to let you know I've made HealthUnlocked aware of this thread. I do know they're doing a lot of work to their sites in the background which may slow things down or cause other issues from time to time. This work is in preparation for major changes to the communities platform which will improve the functionality a great deal and make it easier to find content, follow people and generally interact with each other.
As Rollertoaster says, HealthUnlocked runs more than 100 communities for a range of charities so it can't overhaul one community in isolation from all the rest. I hope you'll bear with us!
All the best
