Well, on this fine bank holiday Monday morning I actually got up and felt like doing my run (probably more like “if I don’t do it now I won’t want to later!) so I dragged my running partner out of bed......not so easy at 8am when it’s the school holidays and they are 15!

I have to say that on run one I had a couples of hurdles both mentally and physically as my first run post surgery (although 3 months of Physio)

Today seemed much better and I actually felt I could have run a little longer, which has left me feeling positive for the slight increase in week 2.

Great photo and I am beyond amazed that you managed to get a teenager out of bed at 8 am in the school holidays! That in itself is worth a medal :-)

Well done on getting through the mental hurdles, often it's harder to bypass them than it is the physical ones.

Good luck for run 3, you'll be great.
