Been suffering an aching right foot since my last run so wasn't sure if I should run today. Warm up walk was fine but first few steps jogging almost made me head home! But I carried on, trying to change the way my foot struck the ground. The pain didn't get any worse so I finished the run, even upping the pace for the last minute. Came home and had a hot bath which really helped. Foot has felt much better so can look forward to R3 on Tuesday.
Had Queen helping me along - laughing out loud at the lyrics of "I'm slightly mad".

You are not slightly mad Montymum, well done in running that full run W7 25 minute run, usually, once you get going the aching foot is not so bad after a few minutes as you discovered by continuing to run. You persevered and you thoroughly deserved that hot bath once you got home. Glad your foot is a lot better and you can look forward to running run 3 of week 7 on Tuesday.
I seem to have a similar problem with the middle toe of my left foot doesn't like it at first but once I get going it either stops or I just don't notice it because all I can hear us my heart my ears 🤣
