I recently finished the plan (on board ship) and now am back to my normal running route. I am still trying to run three times a week in the morning but I am struggling with consistency. I am usually able to manage the 30 mins on two of the theee runs, doing about 4-4.3k distance but I struggle with the middle one.
Any suggestions on helping to improve my consistency? At the moment I am just repeating the final week with the aim to do a park run.
Also can anyone suggest methods/guides on how to build my speed up once I am more consistent (cheeky I know but I have to have a goal after this 😀)
Thanks

Firstly congratulations on completing the programme! 👏👏👏 Feels good doesn’t it? 😀
I found myself in limbo a bit too.
I was stagnating during my post-grad runs so decided to ditch the time aspect of them (just a peek at MapMyRun at the end) and I’m currently working on distance only, doing 2 x 4k runs per week and a 5k one. Well actually my first 5k one will be tomorrow as I’ve only recently decided on this plan, but the 4k ones are already getting easier, and I’m hopeful that my pace will increase naturally over time.
There are quite a few posts along these lines - lots of people feel a bit lost after graduating, so there are plenty of other ideas out there. Just decide if speed or distance are more important to you.
Oh and don’t forget to claim your graduation badge! There’s a pinned post on the forum with a link how to get it! 🥇🥇🥇
