So I started week 9 yesterday. The difference being I am back at work after 7 weeks off so was running after work. I had a back pack on and had eaten a snack for lunch. I was exhausted after 10 mins could feel the weight of the back pack, developed a stitch and sustained a burn under my arm off the back pack strap. I have decided to start week 9 again later in the week and run early morning as I have been doing previously. Here’s to my next run!!
W9 fail!!: So I started week 9 yesterday. The... - Couch to 5K
W9 fail!!

I ran with a backpack all through C25K, and I hated that thing. Have a day’s rest and give it another go at a better time. Good luck!
Early morning is the only time I can run now, anything else and my body just can’t seem to function! At least you have it a go. Keep going and you’ll be so pleased when you make it. Good luck

Fail? What is this word? You changed everything you are used to on this practice run and have learned that this didn’t work for you, that’s a plus, and I’m betting you’ll be a lot closer to 30 minutes than you think, or you’ll smash it, when you get back to your normal.
