Advice... getting back after holiday...

Been away for two week with no exercise and lots of food! I graduated a few weeks ago and am planning my first run back tomorrow. I was thinking of going back to week 7 or 6? Has anyone done this or know what would be best. Don’t want to over do it or not be able to finish! Thanks

Try a week 9 run... you won’t have lost much... if you do 7 and stop at 25 or week 8 and stop at 28, you won’t know if you still got 30... there’s only one way to find out!

Oh I was secretly hoping no one would say that ;) My brain is really getting in my way! I will have to bite the bullet and get going!

What’s the worst that can happen? You try 9 and you have to stop at 26... you know where you’re at... so that’s a result! Turn the voice in the brain off and just relax and go!

The usual advice from the more experienced people on ere seems to be that you don't lose condition, to any significant extent, in two weeks. So if a break is two weeks or less the usual thing to do would be to pick up from where you left off unless there was a special reason not to.

The slowest 30 minutes ever, but I survived! Very surprised but glad. Thank you

We’re in exactly the same predicament, and I went for it and tried the full 30 and made it!!! Was dying for about 20 mins then felt ace!
