Just completed day 1 week 1! Never run or really done any fitness before. Little bit proud of my self. Chest hurt a little when coming to the end of each 60 second run, and I'm not sure my walks were as brisk as they should be. Hoping it will get easier!! We will see...

I started 6 weeks ago having never run before.. yesterday I ran for 20 minutes without stopping, and could have carried on. You’ll be surprised at just how easy running becomes on this programme. Look forward to hearing about your progress!

It does get easier. Just do what feels comfortable and you will be running further and for longer before you know it. You took the hardest step of the whole program today.

I'll never forget week 1 day 1, I thought I was going to have heart failure. You'll be surprised how quickly you get stronger as you work through the weeks - every single week you'll do something that would have been impossible just a week before. I think that’s one of the things that makes C25K so addictive. Good luck with run 2!

Well done... that’s a hard run. The chest will soon adapt, maybe slow your pace a little to help it. You’re right to be proud of yourself too!

What they said, C25K should carry a health warning, it is addictive! Whatever brought you here, I hope you achieve what you want to, stick with it and I believe you will get much more benefit than you anticipated

Hey, Determined9! I've just got started too. It'll be my second run today. I'll look out for you and cheer you on! I, like you, wasn't sure if I was walking 'briskly' enough, but we'll get faster, I'm sure. Good luck with it.
