First day of week 1. Got up early so I could run when less busy and to build my confidence up, feel a bit uncomfortable jogging in front of others at the moment as I'm pretty unfit lol, went okay, getting tired by the end, hope I can keep up with it. ☺

Well done , the fact that u have done it is progress. I felt the same way when I first started and I am now on week 6 . Through the programme I am constantly amazed with the progress made during each run and I’m sure the more u do it the less u will worry what people think , I used to b very self conscious about who saw me running at the start but now it doesn’t bother me and as I do the same route on each run I actually fond that I see the same faces a lot who usually smile or nod at me 🙂 well done u and enjoy ur running journey

Welcome and well done! I was the same when I started week 1 and followed the same plan- early runs when not too many people! The uncomfortable feeling will disappear- just keep running! 🏃‍♀️

Well done to you, we all feel similar in the beginning but trust the programme you will be very surprised in a short while that both your confidence and running will improve and you won’t care what anyone else thinks.

I run early as well, like you at the beginning I was concerned about being seen but now I am on week 9 and I don't care. Each week you will feel you can't possibly do the next week but you will and when you get to week 9 you will look back and realise just how far you have come. Just keep going.

Well done! That's the hardest run! I did week 1 twice to build my confidence. Just remember to go slow and steady and read all the advice on here about how to do this! I've just done my 12th consolidation run, just trust the plan, trust yourself. You got this!😀

Yes! Great start... slow and steady is the mantra... forget any onlookers, they are green with envy, because you are out there and doing it :)

Well done!!

The hardest bit is getting out there and you’ve done it now. Don’t worry what others think - ask yourself have they tried.

Similar to Blossom I did week 1 twice and the last run of week 2 before moving on. I’ve completed my 2nd consolidation run now.

Keep running and enjoy your achievement 🏃‍♀️😊

Fantastic work. A bit tired at the end sounds perfect - it's amazing how effectively this programme builds you up week by week. I do like it when you see old posts on here with people saying they found early weeks tough and then spotting the graduate badge next to their name and thinking, they obviously did it!
